Eno s solo debut here come the warm jets is a spirited experimental collection of unabashed pop songs on which eno mostly reprises his roxy music role as sound manipulator taking the lead vocals but leaving much of the instrumental work to various studio cohorts including ex roxy mates phil manzanera and andy mackay plus robert fripp and others. Eno planned a tour with the band the winkies to accompany him following the release of here come the warm jets. Two drum tracks fade in out of sync and the whole song grows before fading out.

It contains different kinds of styles of the 70 s the beginning of punk rock glam rock in spirit of david bowie s ziggy stardust experiments with synthesizer progressive elements. This new gatefold 2lp vinyl edition of here come the warm jets is presented over two 180gm discs which play at 45rpm for optimum sound quality.
